TARAGO WATER TREATMENT PLANT - DROUIN, VICTORIA

"To whom it may concern.

Barden Steeldeck industries Pty Ltd confirm they have had a positive working relationship with CGE Hire specialising in scaffolding projects around Victoria.

One particular project is the Tarago Water Treatment Plant in Drouin West. CGE Hire constructed a large functional scaffold to enable our roof sheeting to be manufactured through a Roll Forming Machine onto the roof of the water tank. The scaffold had to be purpose build to a particular standard to enable a 75 metre roof sheet to, “slide” on the scaffold and then onto the roof area. CGE Hire’s performance and workmanship on this project was outstanding.

BSI have always found CGE Hire to be well structured, well managed and always have a proactive approach to problem solving. Their scaffolds were always completed in a prompt manner and within set program deadlines.

BSI would have no hesitation in recommending them for any scaffolding hire and construction and trust that you will find them as diligent and pleasing to work with as we have and will continue to do so.

If you require any further information or wish to discuss the above in further detail please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned on (03) 9587 5800

Yours faithfully,

POWER STATION IN VICTORIA

"TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

In May 2009 the four yearly major maintenance shutdown was completed at our power station located in Victoria. CGE Hire were contracted  to install an internal scaffold system within the furnace to provide full access to the hearth, water-wall tubes and platen elements. The envelope of space covered by the scaffold was approximately 1700 square metres.

John Onley and the CGE Hire team successfully completed design, supply and installation of this scaffold, the first time that this task had been achieved in the 40+ year existence of the station. In doing so, significant design challenges were met to assure structural integrity of the complete scaffold-furnace assembly by installation of an external support strut system. In addition, late challenges to the layout of the system caused by greater than expected distortion of hearth and water-wall geometry were successfully catered for with minimal disruption to progress of serial shutdown repair requirements.

I believe that it is safe to say that all users were particularly impressed with the flexibility of the Laher Scaffold system to adapt to the needs of the furnace layout.

CGE Hire had capacity to implement the installation and disassembly works on a continuous shift basis with flexibility to meet the variations in schedule requirements driven by the shutdown program.

Yours sincerely

SHEPHERDS BRIDGE PROJECT FOR CITY ACCESS

"TO COLIN TAYLOR

On behalf of City access and our client Tenix Maintenance Services, we thank you and your staff for the excellent service provided in the successful completion of the Shephards Bridge Project.
CGE Hires's demonstration of the method of anchoring the scaffold system you recommended to the underside of the bridge won over the owners of the asset, procuring their acceptance and approval to proceed with the project.
The scaffold was safely installed within the nominated timeframe, allowing our personnel to complete the works on schedule and without incident.

We would recommend the services of CGE Hire Pty Ltd to any prospective clients with the knowledge that they would receive a professional approach to their scaffolding requirements.
City Access looks forward to working with you and your staff on any future projects, once again many thanks for all your efforts and the advice you provided".

Yours Sincerely
